Sunshine, try and squeeze Demon Hunter in as well, if you can.

And thanks so much for letting me know abuot True Fear

Stusue...I demo'd Demon Hunter last night and think I might buy it with that 50% sale that you mentioned and you're welcome about True Fear.

In Dark Angels I am stuck doing that mosaic puzzle of a wrench.  ETA - Okay, I am past this part.  At first I didn't think those pieces would turn and after numerous attempts one of them finally did.

Urk!  Another friend was bewailing the fact that she has 24 unfinished games!  I wish I could get my unfinished list under 300.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I wish I could manage to finish a game this month.  One week of March gone, and I'm still working on Fill and Cross: World Contest.  I'm on the last room, have about 10 levels left.  I had to turn the music off.  I thought it sounded plaintive and wistful and it was making me sad.  It was easier to concetrate after I did that.

Woohoo, I've actually finished 2 this week ... first I played Danse Macabre and finished it in one day - I definitely recommend the SE but not the CE ... then today I finished Grim Legends - great CE and in my top 3 fav games!  I'm so sorry it's finished.    I loved every single minute.

I'm still playing Seven Seas Solitaire at night whilst watching TV, as well as several others, like Monument Builders - The Great Wall of China, as the mood strikes.

Think I'm going to finish Demon Hunter next.  I loved what I played but couldn't really play any HOPAs whilst my sister was here.

Tirama, good luck with Fill and Cross: World Contest

Thanks lily. We are off at about 6:30 tomorrow morning. And yes Stusue she is on this trip. No results for a couple of weeks but the doc didn't think it was anything to worry about.

The horror sis just told me she didn't get the internet at the place we are staying. (grin) I'll have to pick up wifi where I can.

Oh, no, how are you going to cope being away from the gaming world - especially us! - while you're away?!?!?!

I hope you all have a very safe trip and a stupendous time at the beach with your family.    I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that your niece has nothing to worry about.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

The only Internet capable device i have is my desktop PC.  The first time I went to Seattle I was meeting several other people there.  The person who organized the trip sent me an email telling me what room she was in and when we would be going to dinner.  I read it when I got home! lol.  The hotel did have a business center with Internet connected PCs so I was able to get my daily present in the game I was playing at the time.

stusue - I hope your sister got off okay, was concerned when we didn't see you on Monday chatting about what you got on BPM.

Thanks, Tirama, she certainly got off okay this time.    It's so weird not having someone here all the time to talk to and to discuss what we're watching on TV, and not having anyone to go out to lunch with, for coffee, into town...    But it is nice being able to play games again.

I've been madly trying to get all the washing done before the sun goes away again ... you have no idea how much washing I have piled up downstairs after having 4 members of my family here!  All those sheets, pillow cases, quilt covers, mattress protectors, quilts, towels, coats, dressing gowns ...

But on BPM I got :

Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride CE    with my free game coupon
Danse Macabre: The Last Adagio CE  (get the SE not CE)
True Fear: Forsaken Souls CE  (thanks Sunshine )

And to think that I've already played the first 2 !!!!  **thud **

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Hi everyone! I'm tucked into a Hampton Hotel for the night in Summersville W Virgina. I am exhausted.  We left this morning at 6:30 and did about 12 hours including breaks, about 900 miles. I drove 9 of those hours.  My sister is not a comfortable driver.  I on the other hand love to drive but it was more than enough.  Tomorrow we'll leave by 8:30 and hope to be there by 3-4pm. I got my own room I just needed to decompress on my own.  Hubby sent me picks and he is taking good care of our puppies. I do miss them.  Lol oddly I miss him too.  I never miss him when he goes away.  Probably more about the familiar.  My brother in law has informed me after using my car today he will not be giving it back!  Lol. I drive a very cool Volvo C30 T5.  Trip vehicle is a ford expedition, like night and day. Feels like I'm driving a Mac truck.

I wanted to check in and say hi plus i need to go feed my animals in Township.  I'm off to bed, it's not even 8pm, but on top of the driving I slept like crap last night on a sofa.  I'm too old for that.  The temp when we got here was 14C it felt like heaven.
