Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Jessica has finally posted the upcoming games on BF's Facebook Page and I've updated the thread.

BTW, I don't regard any of the threads I've started as "mine", so if you notice a sale, or a soft release, or whatever, before I do, please feel free to update the appropriate thread.

That True Fear: Forsaken Souls is a game I have been waiting for.  It's original name was Bad Omen and it was supposed to come out in February.  I wasn't going to take advantage of this sale, but now, by golly, I am going to get that game.  Must look for another one.

Sunshine, did you know that True Fear is the first in a trilogy and that the next instalment is due out this fall?  Apparently, the first game doesn't end but leaves you with lots of questions.  I'd love to know what you think of the CE, though, once you've played it.  Pwetty pwease?

Stusue...Just letting you know I am still playing this game and have not forgotten.  I am totally immersed in the story and loving it.  I so hope the next two parts of the game get made.

I'm just finishing up the bonus section of The Torment of Mont Criste.  I liked those puzzles in it where you had to move them from one side to the other along the track in the correct order to make the picture.

I have finished Mythic Wonders: The Philosopher´s Stone SE. Big disappointment!!! I didn´t like it at all.
I nearly dexed it but persevered. I t felt like a chore and in the HOS I just clicked and pressed Hint.
I don´t know why I didn´t like it. The graphics were crystal clear and the VO:s were good.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I finished CLUTTER.  I enjoyed the bonus boards better than the regular ones because they weren't timed.  All except the ones that seemed slightly out of focus.  I doubt that I'll buy the others though.

I've started THE SURPRISING ADVENTURES OF MUNCHAUSEN.  Unfortunately it's no where near my oldest unplayed game.

I've played the 2nd Clutter game.  It gives you the option to play untimed, so you might want to check it out.  I haven't tried Clutter 3 yet.

Still working on Fill and Cross: World Contest.  Finished room 3 and have completed 10 boards of room 4.  Still having trouble remaining focused and keep making the same mistakes over and over again.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Munchaussen is good, Lily.  Different.
My nice lady gave me a replacement code so I 'acquired' (lol) Mystery of the Ancients Siren's Call SE.  Now I have to decide what CE to get with my code.  It has to be a fairly recent one.  Right now I'm debating between
Grim Legends, it has collectibles and morphs, both supposed to be hard to spot
Mystery Trackers, lots of raves but I don't really like the series that much

I want to get True Fear but it doesn't seem to warrant the CE version, not really any extras with it.

=15pxMystery of Unicorn Castle: The Beastmaster Collector’s Edition  - PC/Mac (Meridian93)
is what's coming out, anyone hear anything about these two?

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Thanks Tirama.  I'll take a look at CLUTTER 2.

Wendy -- Wasn't there a MSTERY OF UNICORN CASTLE?  I seem to remember one and I think I liked it.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

lilyr...Yes, there was a Mystery of Unicorn Castle that came out in 2008.  That is a long time in between sequels.

I will be stopping my GameHouse membership very soon. I have 1 SE coupon to use up. I am looking at:
Demon Hunter: Chronicles from Beyond
Ashley Clark: Secret of the Ruby
Esoterica - Hollow Earth
Dark Angels - Masqueade of Shadows
World Riddles - Secrets of the Ages - nonogram puzzle

Has anyone played any of these?  I seem to remember hearing about them here.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

sunshinej - I've played World Riddles - Secrets of the Ages.  BF also sells it.  It's the 3rd in the World Riddles series, and IMO, the best one.  It has achievements, and their presentation is very nice.  And unlike the World Mosaics series, there's a lot of large boards.
