Meg...Good to hear that Tessa is home settling in.
I read the Punch Code thread and that thing Rhonayotte said about everyone being whiny crybabies was just a general insult to everyone. I don't understand why some were thinking it was aimed at them. It wasn't personal to anyone.

I also got that survey and I am not going to fill it out. I am still miff I didn't get a free game coupon after I wrote in to CS. Hmph. I know pretty petty right.
Actually, the first time I wrote CS they just sent me an apology and an explanation (kind of) of the new policy. I wrote back again and told them I was unhappy with their answer and upset with how the change was implemented, that's when they sent me a coupon. I don't know if I would have gotten it if I hadn't written twice.
Ah, Thanks Wendy. I see now. No matter it's water under the bridge now that a new month has started.
That True Fear: Forsaken Souls is a game I have been waiting for. It's original name was Bad Omen and it was supposed to come out in February. I wasn't going to take advantage of this sale, but now, by golly, I am going to get that game. Must look for another one.

I have been feeling the winter blues this year. Over 100 inches of snow so far, which is nothing new here. It is just the freezing cold temps - single digits at night and teens during the day. It is so stinkin' cold out, it feels like I haven't been outside in months. I am dying to go out on a walk without my face freezing off from the bitter cold wind.

OMG, just finished reading the rest of the "Punch Card" thread. Hilarious. Rhonayotte called people whiney crybabies or some such and all hell broke loose. Go read it before it disappears. Barre was there
It's no longer funny. It's reached new levels of personal attacks that are juvenile and puerile and intentionally hurtful. I can't believe people can even think such awful, cruel, mean things, let alone say them in an open forum. I hope the entire thread is removed.
Wow! I just went back and read the new pages. Insane! Page 7 is a doozy. How could it not be moderated? There had to be thousands of 'Report" buttons pressed.
No one's talking about the BOGO/ $1.99 sale, guess most of us are passing. Someone gave me a punch code the other day but I guess I didn't get it in time, it came back invalid when I tried to use it. She said she will contact CS and try to get me a replacement, how sweet. Does the CE of Mystery of the Ancients have much more than the SE? Sounds like Acheivements and one collectible, I'd just as soon go with the SE if that's all the difference is, assuming the nice lady replaces the code. I might en d up with 5 punches but I don't want to rejoin just to get one free game, I don't think.
Meg, that's so sweet about the dogs. Mine adore each other and there's no way I would separate them. I don't understand either why all the FTPs are Ip** anad not on the computer. On the flip side, it's tough to get stuff for Android, they're way far behind.

I bought True Fear: Forsaken Souls & Mystery Trackers: Raincliff's Phantoms. I had to use cash since I am out of game credits, but going to start playing True Fear right away after it's gets done downloading. I am putting Victorian Mysteries: The Yellow Room on the shelf for now.
I went back to reread page 7 to see what you meant. Usually I just skip over the posts with quote in a quote in a quote, so didn't notice it the first time. I found the one you meant.

I read parts of that thread last night, and thought hmm these are adults? I just think the whole exchange was really ridiculous. And why are these folks are even posting on a site they detest so much? It was very seventh grade if you know what I mean. I saw the balance of the thread, and scanned thru, frankly I think they are all as bad as each other. I can see how some comments were hurtful, but the responses were just as uncalled for and vile imo. Does no one know how to turn the other cheek and walk away?
Meg I am so glad for you that Tessa is home and coping well. I love it when I bring one of my guys home and see how happy the other is to see him. Very cute and nice for Miles to have his pal back. Hope you mom gets better so as well. She and Tessa can have therapy together.
Stusue I'm also happy to hear that sis is all better and well enough to travel. Tell her to have a safe trip home.
Wendy that must be a pita to see games you want to try and you're unable to because of op systems.
I finished Queens Tales, I could have done without the bonus section but it was a fun colourful game.
Someone asked about Mystery of the Ancients. I really liked the bonus section. It was quite lengthy and an added little story.you don't need it for a conclusion of the main game.

Sunshine, did you know that True Fear is the first in a trilogy and that the next instalment is due out this fall? Apparently, the first game doesn't end but leaves you with lots of questions. I'd love to know what you think of the CE, though, once you've played it. Pwetty pwease?

It wasn't personal to anyone. She went fishing and caught some fish. On the otherhand what BWR said was a personal attack and uncalled for.
I think it was the "We don't buy from Big Flush" people who came over to do a little pot-stirring who got Rhonayotte to take the bait and then cried foul. Now that they've had their little gang bang, they're probably patting themselves on the back in their secret forum.
Same nasty stuff that they posted all over CCC on its last day. It's been over 6 months since CCC closed, for crying out loud, build a bridge and get over it already.
The developers that have cosied up to this crowd better watch their back. When a company stops doing things their way, they go out for blood.

I feel for you, Sunshine! But here we had the warmest winter on record (and records began in, I think, something like 1781). It's been cold and we had some snow but nowhere near the way below freezing temps we normally have and the 4 months of snow we've had the past few years. And for the past week it's been sunny and - relatively - warm and the spring flowers are already out, all the plants and flowers in my garden are budding and new leaves are already appearing, and the birds are even starting their mating rituals!!!! At this time of year for the past few years we've been shovelling snow every day and it was still below freezing for at least another month, and spring isn't due to arrive for at least that long, if not later. We missed out on spring altogether last year when it stayed overcast with snow and freezing temps until well into April!

Oscar, that's so sweet of you! My sister was touched and asked me to thank you.
She's still got a big lump on the back of her head that hurts whenever you touch it, and she's still got aches and pains all over, but she's heaps better and well enough to travel. Although we've both been close to tears for days now, knowing that the time is drawing near when she has to go.
