Anki...I had a Yikes! moment in The Longest Journey last night when I was in the Gribbler's house and she locked the door and coming after April Ryan and I was like okay HELP! What do I do? - How do I escape? - Get me out of here!
Oscar...I just bought The Walking Dead Season1 for $6.24 and I had to activate the game through Steam. It was my first time with them too. I think the really big games you'll need to go through Steam. Actually it did say that it would be activated through Steam on the Gamersgate site. I just didn't notice. Everything went smoothly and I was able to play okay.
Tirama...I was thinking the same thing. A lot of titles with Grim or Legend in them. I had to stop & think okay which series is this one now until I realized it was a new one.
barre...Today's game sounds like a good one. I think I will try it too. I just love extras like 2 bonus chapters.
I think someone a while back was asking about Jigsaw puzzles and at Gamersgate for the sale they have
Holiday Jigsaw Halloween - $2.50
Holiday Jigsaw Valentine - 1.25

Stusue...I don't know why GameHouse doesn't consider me a loyal customer. I just counted my games with them and I have 38, going all the way back to 2010. I first started with Gamehouse, before I found Big Fish, but even still I bought a few games each year from them.
Sunshine, I actually went and counted how many games I own on GH and, I'm ashamed to say, I have almost double the number that you have! Some of them were freebies and I've only ever bought games that were on sale, but still... I can't remember when I got my first game on GH but it would be a good few years ago now.

Just tested my code and it works for a CE. Just have to decide which one to get.
WTG, Tirama! I haven't had time to demo anything but I've still got until Monday to decide...

I think Ive decided on Grim Legends: Forsaken Bride. I don't have any ArtifexMundi games waiting to be played and I still have a bunch of games from Eipix Entertainment. So Danse Macabre: The Last Adagio will have to wait for another time.

I think Stusue has bought from Steam before, but I heard good things about them. I've gone in there but didn't buy anything. The games might be cheap but where can one find the time to play them all?
Nope, sorry, Barre, Steam is one place where I won't buy any games, even though I know lots of people who love it. If I see that a game has a Steamworks DRM I won't get it, no matter how much I may want it. I've read too many very negative comments about Steam to want to have the same problems those people had. If I remember correctly, it was a case of if you have no problems then everything's okay, however, should you have any problems then you have a big problem. I also don't want another account DRM.
However, Steam has some great sales and you can also play all your games through them, so you can keep all your games together in the one place. I think you can also get achievements when you play games on Steam, but I don't know if that's only for games you buy from them or whether that's also for games you've bought elsewhere but added to your account there.

Right now the F2P games are keeping my interest. I don't even go to BFG to check out the games anymore -- unless there's a true BOGO. And there's a remote chance that my favorite MMOG will be coming back! The company released almost all of the code and there are groups that are working hard to get it back online. If that happens I'll be playing that.

What's your favourite mmog Lily?
Thanks for the info re Steam. I doubt I'll be a reg user of it. I have purchased the majority of my games from BFG. Only recently have I picked up some from these other sites and you're right Barr, that thought ran thru my head when I was buying them, but I did it anyways, lol. I'll get to them and I have nowhere near 1000 (yet) even taking into account all my console games.

Sorry, but what is MMOG? I am clueless.

MMOG = Massively Multiplayer Online Game think Worlds of Warcraft, etc.
My favorite was/is/and will be GLITCH. It was a true sandbox game -- you could do what you wanted within the confines of the game and there were incredible numbers of choices. Some players even grouped together and did something that the game hadn't incorporated but that the DEVs had hoped for.
For the DEVs this was a true work from the heart. Tiny Speck started developing the game in the early 2000s but had to stop when the tech bubble burst. They went on to develop (and sell) Flikr and then went back to their real love -- GLITCH. Many, many people played it and enjoyed it but it never made enough money to sustain itself. Reluctantly the DEVs shut it down. They were extremely generous. We had a good amount of warning and in the final month the DEVs pretty much gave everything away for free. At the end they refunded all the RL money anyone had spent in the last year and gave you an option for earlier money spent. I told them to keep it. They kept the Forums up and open (interactive) for 3 months after the game closed. Much of the informatuion is still archived online. You can read it but not post. And finally the DEVs released essentially all of the code so people could play around with it. The only condition was that whatever was made was not to be sold.
I'll step off my soapbox now.
Oh. I got a game credit (the non expire kind) from BFG too. I haven't tried to see if it will wortk on a CE.
