Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Stusue - Best wishes to your sister for a speedy recovery.

I'm thinking of getting Royal Jigsaws 2 - has anyone played it and if so how is it?

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Barre, Govols, lilyr and Oscar, thanks so much for all your best wishes!    Both my sister and I appreciate them very much.

This will be very quick as it's after 1 am and I'm very .  Fortunately, my sister didn't have to go to the hospital but I have to keep an eye on her and take her straight to hospital should she get any worse.  According to my doctor she has:

  -  a huge  lump on the back of her head, where she collided with the corner of the wall
  -  whiplash
  -  a bad headache
  -  ear aches
  -  really bad jawache - hence she can't wear a brace for her whiplash
  -  a very painful and extremely stiff neck - which we have to keep a close eye on
  -  painful right thigh where she collided with something
  -  extremely painful left knee, as she's injured her miniscus
  -  a very stiff body and especially her neck as she's jarred it all

I've got a feeling I've forgotten something but I can't think what.    So, I've just got to keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn't actually have a concussion and hope that the pain doesn't get worse as we hope she hasn't hurt her neck or broken anything.  We're both hoping she feels much better in the morning when she wakes up.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

For anyone who's interested, GameHouse has a 50% off sitewide sale (50% off either the member or non-member price) today and tomorrow, SEs and PEs.  And the 40% off code from yesterday still works today (just like BFG) - CANDY2014 - so you can get 40% off the 50% off price.    I just got 4 games for $1.79 each and then got a PCC as well!  So, 5 games for $7.16!    I'm a happy little Vegemite!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

stusue, so sorry to hear about your sister ~ hoping she's not in too much pain and a few days will ease her suffering.  I had a friend who tore her miniscus in the middle of a golf swing and she was in a lot of pain for quite a while.  Prayers going up for a speedy recovery.

stusue...I am very sorry to hear about your sister's accident.  It all sounds very painful.  I hope she had a restful night and did not need to go to the hospital.

I have finished Matchmaker- Curse of Deserted Bride. It was OK, just happy to be over with it.
Luckily I haven´t bought it, it was through my FP at Zylom

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I finished Vampire Legends: The True Story of Kisilova.  It took me 10 days to finish it since I would squeeze it inbetween AK and Clutter 3.  So I don't quite remember the story very well.  The SE is fine for a satisfactory ending.

I have been loving Clutter 3.  I played the void disc already which was 25 games and thought is that it.  Then I saw on the main menu page a classic clutter and a extreme clutter and a void replay all with 25 games each in it.  Here I thought they were just all the different puzzles.  Very happy I got this game.

Sunshine, I noticed from your list that you finished Fall of the New Age CE.  Was it a good game?  I haven't bought it yet so I'm curious.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

stusue - hope your sister is feeling better today.

I restarted Awakening Kingdoms, tried Archie: Riverdale Rescue (didn't like it), and retried World Mosaics Chroma.

I don't feel anxious or jittery with Chroma this time, maybe because I know the rules now.  I like the switching back and forth between the colors.  I don't like the nonsense with the powerups, and it bugs me that when I make a mistake, I can't immediately start over.  Well, I can, but I'll lose a life.

It was easy to get 3 starts on the first couple of boards, I'd say it's just about impossible on some others without using powerups (and I don't know how you earn them or whether you have to buy them), but I can manage to earn 2 stars (1 for completing and 1 for no mistakes).  Time will tell if 2 stars per board is enough to advance.
