No I do mean the newer Fairway for the pads (confusing yes), it should have dl'd but didn't. I've got it on my IPad. Oh well she can do it later, I just wanted some fun stuff on it. I also put some brain puzzles on there, maybe my dad might try it out. I do love that original Fairway, I always think of it as the Fred Flinstone one.
I am at this moment annoyed at MCF. I have run into a glitch in the attic HO scene and have had to shut down twice now, a hard shut down once as the task manager would not come up. It kept restarting me at the same point so the second time I quickly changed difficulty level and used a hint to get thru it. It was at the very last pair in the scene and it all just froze, cursor could not click anything, just moved around the screen, Annoyed I had to use a hint, Then in the lock puzzle with the fox I am at the very end. Everything done except the last puzzle where you put pieces together and the last one will not go in its slot. The whole thing is correct it will just not accept this piece. I do not want to skip a puzzle! And I am terribly bored with the story.
What are your thoughts on the game Sun?

I'm hoping it's just a coincidence Tee but you could be right.
I went and looked back at Tirama's sales thread and seems last true BOGO on a weekend was Oct. 4-5. There was a 3-day one over Labor Day.

I finally found an all right M3, it's called Travel Riddles: Trip to India. There's not much travely or Indiay about it though. You have to break the colored squares and move artifacts to the bottom of the board. I don't really care for that 'move to the bottom of the board". I don't mind it for some of the boards but not every single one, So far there's only been 5 or less artifacts. There's a store, but not really any bonuses on the board. I've gotten a couple exploding barrels but i'm not sure how. You can buy the barrels in the store, and also a powerup that explodes everything of that type. I just played far enough to get the second batch of powerups in the store but it turned out they were the same two as I had, you can just buy 5 at a time for a cheaper price, The game is rather boring, so I think I will quit.

Wendy, I've just been reading back and noticed all the M3s you've been trying. I've played at least a bit of all of them so here's what I thought of them all...
Rainforest Adventure - played it with my FunPass, LOVED it, bought it. It's one of my all-time fav M3s.
Imperial Island 2 - played it with my FunPass, LOVED it, bought it, as well as the first one.
Legend of Gallant - started playing it with my FunPass, LOVED it, bought it before I'd finished it.
Alchemy Quest - it got really crap reviews at BFG, mainly because you need to play so many levels before you earn enough to buy powerups, so I was wary of it. However, I liked it and so kept playing to see if I should buy it or not. But it's a really, really hard M3, which I love, so I kept on going. I read one review that said that you should first get the powerup on the last page of the powerups that multiplies your points so that you then get points much quicker and then earn the other powerups much faster. Well, I couldn't stop playing it and, after many, many levels, it's true, I've just bought my first multiplier powerup so I'm earning double points at the moment. I ended up LOVING it so much the more I played it that I bought it.
Fishdom: Depths of Time CE - I got it for $2.99 at Playrix and love it. All the Fishdom M3s are basically the same but this one does have some differences (which I can't remember right now). But this is the first one I've played on my touchscreen laptop and it's great! I'm really glad I got it with all the extra levels, although Fishdom games are normally so long you never get to the end to play all the bonus levels.
Travel Riddles: Trip to India - I've just finished playing this one. I agree with everything you said. I also found the entire game really easy so it was great to play watching TV and, because of it's simplicity and every level being the same, I wouldn't have considered buying it. I finished it yesterday and enjoyed it, but wouldn't consider buying it unless I had an expiring PCC I needed to use and nothing else I wanted to get. I easily got 3 gold stars on evrery level ... until the last 2 levels. The difficulty suddenly soars when you get to the second last level. I've played it maybe 20 times, having to go back and play the first, untimed level, over and over and over again to get as many points as I could so that I could buy as many powerups as I could to try and finish the level in 3-star time, but I still haven't managed it. So I've had to accept 2 gold stars for the last 2 levels as I don't really want to play the first level (the easiest to get lots of points on) over and over and over and over and over again ad nauseum so that I can buy heaps and heaps and heaps of powerups to get 3 stars on both last levels. However, when I got to those last 2 levels my appreication of the game went up markedly.

I finished Gizmos: Riddle Of The Universe. It seemed easier than the Halloween one, but that may be because I ditched my old track ball because the left click button was sticking and got a new one. I'm tempted to leave both games on my desktop to try and get gold on more boards, bt I better delet them and hopefully I'll move onto play something else.
Tirama, I got both Gizmos games and, even though I haven't finished either of them, I also found Riddle of the Universe easier then the Halloween one.

TOTALLY off topic but all of you have been talking about touch screens so.....How in heck do women with long nails use touch screens?
Offline
lily - people with long nails probably use a stylus to operate their touch screen devices. I sometimes use one when playing AK on the iPad. The mini games where you have to trace something to open up a mini scene in the HO's are very difficult to do with just your finger.
I'm hoping we get a super-duper Cyber Monday sale.

Thank you, America and your Thanksgiving. I've just got 4 point-and-click adventure games and one super fun board game (that you can play with a friend online if you want) for $8.97 in the GamersGate Thanksgiving sale using their Thanksgiving code. The email said that you could only use the code for one purchase per account but I just put all 5 games in the basket and got the 20% off the total, so a further 20% off games that had already been reduced 75-80% in the sale!
I got 3 fun adventure games: Adam's Venture 1, 2 and 3
one horror adventure game: Baron Wittard - Nemesis of Ragnarok
and one fun board game: Don't Get Angry! 3 for $8.97 !!!!
I haven't "bought" anything at BFG since the last BOGOF; I've only used expiring coupons. I've just bought heaps of great games really cheaply at all the other game sites that have had some super sales this past week or two.
It's really weird though - I can gift Don't Get Angry! 3 to anyone straight away but I have to wait 24 hours until I can unlock it and download it for myself. I've never come across that before and have no idea why they'd do that.

Woo Hoo !!!!!!!!
I was just thinking of getting the Cradle bundle at GameHouse last week. I already had one of them, didn't like the first one, but was thinking of getting it with a coupon to get the other 2, one in particular. However, as I already had one I didn't get it ... and the one game that I wanted to get is FREE today at Game Giveaway of the Day !!!!!! I am SO the luckiest person I know!
The FREE game today is ...
Cradle of Rome 2
So go and download it if you haven't already got it. It's a great M3! What have you got to lose?
