Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Thanks Wendy, are any of the Acer though?  I wanted to know about the brand experience.  I did load on some stuff for her as Amazon had those free apps yesterday.  I use an ipad so I cant transfer but I think she'll enjoy.   Oddly I tried to put Fairway Solitaire on for her and it said it was incompatible, which I found strange.  I do think Acer is pretty common.

Enjoy your new monitor and all the sparkly pictures.  MIght feel like you can climb in there!

It seems like you can get Sacred Grove for $1.99 for your IPad/Phone.  I have a game or two on my tablet but haven't played them to see how they compare to a PC game.   It says it's 1.6 Gigs, so it takes up a ton of room.  Go for it, Tirama, it says it has bonus content.

I've been trying to download it without success.  The icon goes from waiting, to loading, and then finally I get the message "Unable to download app" and the choice to click either done or retry.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I'm really tempted by the BFG BGOF sale today BUT so far this month I've only bought 1 game and i've finished 2.  that would pretty much make it my best month ever! (and how sad is that? )

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I'm going to wait and hope we get a Christmas or New Year's BOGO that has codes that will still work on a Monday.

I finished Gizmos: Riddle Of The Universe.  It seemed easier than the Halloween one, but that may be because I ditched my old track ball because the left click button was sticking and got a new one.  I'm tempted to leave both games on my desktop to try and get gold on more boards, bt I better delet them and hopefully I'll move onto play something else.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Since Christmas and New Year's Day are both Thursdays I'm hoping for a mid-holiday or a winter sale so we can take advantage of BPM.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I'm just wondering if the reason they are having a few of these BOGO during the week (mostly on Wed. it seems, because I usually take advantage of them), is because they know people are waiting until Monday for the BPM and they are trying to take that away.  Usually the sales on the weekends have either been $4.99 sales for SE or CE sales at retail.  Just a thought!

I'm hoping it's just a coincidence Tee but you could be right.

I have it on my Android devices.  There's two of them, one is Fairway Blast.  One has a new course everyday.  It takes forever and a day to load up, though.  I love solitaire on my tablet.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Wendy I think oscar was talking about the original FAIRWAY SOLITAIRE.  That and UNWELL MEL were written, in large part by Grey Alien Games.  The folk (since Jake is essentially a one-man show) who brought us SPOOKY BONUS.  The original is no longer offered by BFG.  There are 2 or 3 other FAIRWAY games though.
