I was wondering what the $50 million bonus depended on.  I guess we'll be looking at a LOT more F2P casino games offered on BFG. 

WOW!  Just WOW!  I didn't think a corporation as huge as Churchill Downs would purchase a company with an ongoing lawsuit (possibly class action) such as the one BigFish is involved in.  Or, maybe that's a part of the big deal they're not making public.  Unless I didn't get the memo that it settled already - which would be rare to happen so quickly.  With the amazing profits made on F2P games, like BFG Casino, it's highly likely Thelen will make that $50 million bonus in 2 years.

I just wonder what that means for us BFG members?  Very disappointed.  Very, very disappointed.  Although, if I could make $800 million dollars in a day PLUS stock incentives, I would probably sell my company too.

Sad to see BFG go.  Wonder if we'll be seeing any horse racing games around the corner - lol.  Explains why so many changes have been happening lately.

Still playing Secret Bunker and really liking it.  don't know why the reviews were so low, maybe because it's not 'glitzy'.   I like the gameplay, it really sticks to the story and is logical.  It only uses a few rooms at a time so I'm not wandering around or taking something five miles to get something else.  Sometimes the entire room is the hidden object scene, I really like that.  Can't wait to go play it again, haven't felt that way in a while

Thanks Wendy.  I remember SECRET BUNKER.  I looked it up and I DO have it!  I'm looking forward to it based on your comments.  As for the lawsuit...  WHEN will people start taking responsibility for their own actions (or lack of same)?  18 months?  You don't look at your statements for 18 months?  Come on!  I think BFG was more than generous in refunding a year!

Hello Everyone!!!  Hope you all are having a lovely day.   We're in the beginnings of the Polar Freeze here in the Central U.S. with temperatures during the day of ... hmmmm..... yesterday's high was 19.  We're supposed to get up to 3" of snow tomorrow (Saturday) and possibly more Sunday and Monday.  Then, temps are to plummet to the single digits for daytime highs by the middle of next week.   It won't get above 20 degrees for a while it seems.  It's usually not that cold or snowy this early in the season.  I LOVE it when it snows.  It seems like the world is so quiet and watching the snow fall is just ....... so peaceful.  Love Love Love it.  Can't wait to see Freya out in the snow for the first time.    HER winter coat is coming in and she's so thick and warm and ........... soft.  wonder if I should get her a coat or a sweater.   Does anyone know????  I had my fur jacket on yesterday when I walked her it was so cold.  When I worked in DC there was a "rule" for cold weather.  If it was above 30 a regular coat was ok but if it dipped below 30 eveyrone got out their shearlings or furs (faux furs).  I've never owned a puppy/dog in a cold climate so I'm a bit lost here.

Re the BFG deal.  I think (and I could be wrong) one of the articles mentioned that the BFG Casino increased BFG's revenue by many millions of dollars in it's first year.  So, if they come out with  more F2P games that are similarly lucrative, I can see Thelen getting that bonus with no problem.  I wonder what it means for us casual game players.  Churchill Downs did say they were mostly interested in the F2P market.  Will our HOPAs, Mahjong, Solitaire and other games slowly get phased out???  Lots to think about.

I agree about the lawsuit.  It's what, in the legal field, is called a "frivilous" lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the courts are chock full of these types of "frivilous" lawsuits and that's why cases can take a minimum of 5 years to be heard.  There really is no stopping these types of cases being filed and there are always lawyers willing to file them.  That's one field I never worked in because you don't get paid until the suit ends.  I mean secretaries/paralegals, etc.  The worker bees.  You earn a lower salary than if you worked for a straight-out real estate, corporate, etc. lawyer/firm but you "theoretically" get a huge "bonus" when the suit/class-action settles.

I have Secret Bunker too!  Another game I have yet to play.
