In case anyone's interested, both the French and German sites have an extra punch sale again for all games for today only. So, if anyone has any PCCs floating around (or GCCs, too, of course), you can use them and get 2 punches instead of the usual one for SEs, or 4 punches instead of the usual 3 for CEs.
I, unfortunately, will be out and about with my family again today so probably won't have time to check out which games they have that I may want. But I sure am hoping to get some time once we're home again to see.

Also for anyone who may be interested - perhaps sunshinej - GameHouse has a 30% off sitewide sale for 48 hours, code CLOCK30. This code is also valid for all their already discounted games, which had a few changes today.

Thanks for informing us about the current sales stusue. I wish I had a pcc floating around as it was fun going to the French site and figuring out how in the world to get the game to play from French to English. I used up all my pcc's in January though. I would like to get some games from GameHouse, I am just sorry to miss the 50% sale, I think I will wait to it comes around again. At least I hope it does.
I still have to use up my funpass game or lose it and I was thinking about one of these 3 games.
Hypnosis by NevoSoft
Esoterica - Hollow Earth
Dark Angels: Masquerade of Shadows
Hypnosis is part adventure and part first person shooter. You can skip the shooting part if you need to. I thought this would be fun and it was given good reviews so I am leaning towards this game.

sunshinej, GameHouse seems to have a % off sale every day which I think's great for the discounted games as I've gotten some great games for 59 cents (normally $1.19 then 50% off ), or for PEs that BFG doesn't have when you get the PE for the price of an SE as well as 3 punches, as I've done recently (it's great when the first 2 punches are free ).
Hypnosis - bought from BFG but not yet played
Dark Angels - Masquerade of Shadows - played using FunPass and loved it
Esoterica - Hollow Earth - downloaded ready to play using FunPass
As for using your monthly FunPass code, I try to get things other than HOPAs with those as they're the sort of games I'll play again, whereas HOPAs you only play once and can play them free with your FunPass. Have you had a look at the new Space Mahjong game? I don't particularly like mahjong but this one has 7 different types of mahjong, not just the normal one, and it's really fun! What about that one? I got it with this month's FunPass code after just playing one of each of the 7 types of games.
FYI : the discounted games for this week (until 10 Feb) are :
For $1.19 (less 30% today and tomorrow) -
Silent Scream - The Dancer - I own on BFG
Mystery Stories - Mountains of Madness - I own on BFG
Mystika - Between Light and Shadow - I bought for 59 cents on GameHouse
Time To Hurry - Nicole's Story
Carrie the Caregiver 2 - Preschool
Home Sweet Home 2 - Kitchens and Bathrooms
For $2.39 (less 30%) -
Castle - Never Judge a Book by Its Cover
New Yankee in King Arthur's Court 2 - I own on BFG
Jewel Legends - Magical Kingdom
For $4.19 (less 30%) -
The Fog - started playing with FunPass but not yet finished
For $4.89 (less 30%) -
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum Edition
Lake House - Children of Silence Platinum Edition - I own on BFG

Question :
Has anyone heard of Demon Hunter: Chronicles From Beyond - The Untold Story for PC? It's the latest game for $2.95 at Legacy Games (until 11 February) but I haven't heard anything about it. I'm just downloading the demo from there as I type.
It's by BraveGiant. It's a HOPA and the blurb says :
- Search dozens of Hidden Object scenes!
- Discover 32 hidden unique collectibles!
- Earn challenging achievements!
- Featuring gorgeous artwork and cutscenes!
ETA: It seems that it's already available on iWin and I found the survey for it on BFG, so I imagine it'll be on BFG very soon.

I decdied to play Call of the Ages. Made itall the way to level 10. Still spending most of time playing free to play games.
Regarding MCF: Blackpool, there's a proo for it in Fate's Carnival CE. Hoping that means it will be available on PC, but the fact that it's also going to be available on iPad makes me think that like Dark Manor, some of the HOscenes will involve scrolling, which I don't really like.

Okay, I've now finished the demo for Demon Hunter: Chronicles From Beyond - The Untold Story. WOW! CE for SE price (or only $2.95 on Legacy Games until 11 February). It has absolutely everything you could wish for in a CE (except an SG). For example :
- 7 each of 4 collectibles (I think 1 type per area)
- 8 each of bronze, silver and gold achievements (some really interesting ones and some you don't know what they are)
- jump map with a small screen so that you know exactly what each location is
- bonus chapter
- great voiceovers
- morphs in HOSs - the last one I did had 3 and you can tell when they've morphed as the colour changes
- hard, interactive HOSs, with some interactions having more than one step
- I played some HOSs twice but things were left just as you'd finished them the first time, eg. a box will still be open
- you use normal items to get things, eg. a pen to dig up a coin, then you use the coin as a screwdriver
- I only played 3 minigames - 2 were very easy, one was a thinker and fun
- 2 modes (expert or casual) and expert only has sparkles on HOSs and has less helpful comments
- plus all the usual CE extras, like music, wallpapers, movies ... AND replayable HOSs and puzzles!!!!
All this for the price of an SE (or currently $2.95 at Legacy Games). And the graphics were fine, although the cutscenes were a bit rough, but not a problem.
It'll be really interesting to see if BFG releases it as a CE or SE. All you'd have to do is add an SG and it would be a CE, although the Hint is really helpful - directional without losing a hint - so you wouldn't need one. Except, not every scene has a collectible and you wouldn't have them listed in the SG.
So it's a buy for me ... but I'll just wait to see if BFG gets it as I can use a PCC. Legacy has it at the sale price for a week so I've got time to see. But I'm definitely getting it!

I finished Greed: The Mad Scientist. It was an okay game, quite easy, you do collect lots of items in your inventory and have to figure out where to use them. Puzzles are easy to solve. The map is not very helpful, not a jump map, does not indicate where there is a task to be done, it's more like a blueprint of the places. The Hint is very helpful though, with a button to jump to the location of the task.
Next I will play Sea of Lies: Mutiny of the Heart CE.

I'll be looking for Demon Hunter and that Mahjong game you mentionned Stusue.
I finished Midnight Mysteries Witches of Abraham. It was pretty standard fare for the series and I see at the end there will be a Charles Dickens one. I will say by the end I was hoping it would be over soon.
Tirama I don't like scrolling either it makes me feel ill. I have yet to try the game but I'll let you know if that is a feature. I deleted Dark Manor (off my IPad) for that reason, and because it was quite dark and the items very small. I don't like having to constantly zoom in and out.
I did find Christmas Nonograms free for the IPad along with Asian Riddles 2. The downside is they both have other game ads as a bar at the top and if you make too many errors, as I often do when I forget to switch back from the "x" you lose lives and have to wait for them to recharge. the wait is fairly short. I can't imagine that they make any money off the in game purchases. The lives recharge in under 5 minutes. I also dl'd a game someone told me about for it called What's the Word. A good little time waster when you're waiting for an appt. It is pictures and you have to come up with the common thread. So far it is very easy.
