I checked several times Monday for Jessica's Playlist on Facebook to see what the upcoming CE's were with no luck and then forgot all about it until today, CE Thursday.
Not at all excited about another Puppet Show, didn't buy the last one, but the other CE scheduled to be released this week is...Manor Memoirs Collector’s Edition!

I was checking my game manager to see what Puppetshows I had and found I have 5 of them and only the first 1 was played. I really liked Mystery of Joyville and just kept getting the others. I really hope that this is the last one and sometime I'll have a marathon and just play them all at once.
I was in my game manager and looking in the Game Titles tab and then I looked in the other tab called Order Date. I took a look at some of my oldest games and found quite a few of them unplayed or started and never finished and it game me a idea.
I was thinking of starting a thread tomorrow called Oldest Game Challenge 8/22/14-9/30/14 and was going to list my 3 oldest games and try to finish them off in the given time. This is a open challenge to anyone and you can start when ready. Just list 3 of your oldest unfinished games or unplayed games and play them in the time given. There is still plenty of time for playing some of the new bright & shiny games that come out or the f2p games. This is just a boost to cross off some of your older games that have been gathering dust in your game manager. Your reward for finishing one, besides being able to cross another game off your list I can also give you one of these and a Yay! I knew you could do it. Is anyone else up to the challenge?

sunshine - most of my oldest unfinished games are of the these will last forever type. I'll just be thrilled if I finish anything regardless of age. Once again, we've had thunderstorms and the gardeners are trying to get the lawns cut between downpours. This is the hottest, muggiest, rainiest summer I can remember since I moved here.
I just noticed that I did, in fact, finish a game this month, A Series of Unfortunate Events. Maybe I can add Big Kahuna Reef 3 to the completed side of the ledger. And I really want the CE that will be released this weekend and maybe I can finish that one as well.
Meanwhile I continue to make progress on the free-to-play games and I love playing Awakening Kingdoms on my iPad and writing my Steward's Diary about my progress.
They're really fixed the drop rates and I'm moving along so much fatser, or so it seems, than I did in the PC wersion when I had to start over because my hard drive crashed.

Good point Tirama. Match 3, Solitaires, Jigsaws, Mahjong & other type games often have lots and lots of levels and can take a very long time to play.
I could just call it Oldest HOPA Game Challenge.

Sounds good Sunshine I'm in!
I have finished the main game of Crown of Solomon and I can say I liked Smithsonian better. But it was still okay. It seemed like it had a lot more guidance that I didn't want or need and thought was all turned off in the settings for difficulty. I'll play the bonus tonight and I do like to replay the HO scenes and get the crowns and 100%. Plus the souvenir room.
I have to put this here, I'm so excited Doctor Who starts Saturday! Yippee. Can't wait to see the new Doctor. Although no one will ever leave up to David Tennant. Sigh.

Sunshine - Did you start the thread? If yes where did you put it?
I think I have finished 6 games this month.

My problem is that I pushed so hard in 2012 and 2013 to finish old games that I've already played all the old easy HOPA's. The oldest ones I have left were bought the second half of 2013, and they all have achievements and extra goodies. And at this point in my life, it's difficult to put together a big enough block of time to play them. So I'm left with all these M3"s and other games that take at least a week to finish, but don't require the intense concentration a really good HOPA does.
But I am determined to finish BKR3 although I so want to dex it.
