Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

This week I've played both Bluebeard's Castle games (loved them both ), then Haunted Manor: Painted Beauties SE (really loved this super loooooooooooooooong game with fantastic puzzles and am so glad I didn't listen to all the crap reviews and got it! ), almost finished Magic Griddlers (loved how hard it gets but hate that you have to use hints - or else guess ), and have just started Chronicles of the Witches and Warlocks (with my FunPass).  I don't know that this is going to be such a great game but it has a lot to live up to after having played 3 fantastic games in less than a week!

Today's  FREE  game at  Game Giveaway of the Day  is ...

The Flying Dutchman

For ages sea voyages have threatened of dangers. The sea always has its tribute from vanished ships making all the traces of wrecks inaccessible in its depths. But sailors still believe in their last chance for salvation. The legend says that if you underwent a shipwreck with no hopes for reprieve, you must jingle coins. And then you will behold the Flying Dutchman – the Ghost Ship.

Its crew will take you wherever you want to go in the world. But for each day you will pay gold. If there is no gold left, you have to play a game with the crew of Flying Dutchman – the game with your life at stake. Victory will assure enough gold till the end of the day. But defeat will make you prisoner of the Flying Dutchman… forever!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Last day of my free wi-fi.  I've downloaded all of my CEs and 'big' games, now I'm working on the smaller ones.  I have almost all the rest on my other computer, the older games play just fine on it, it's the newer ones that the graphics can overwhelm the poor old thing.  I haven't actually gotten to play any;thing yet but check in on my FTPs.  Next week is the river, but I might get some playing time in at night.  Except the nights we go to the bar.....

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

I'm glad the games are downloading so well and the new laptop seems to be handling them.  Drinking? Really?    I'm shocked! just kidding.   Hope you're making a decent amount of money.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I finished Portal of Evil Stolen Runes.  A very good game.  Fairly long, with the bonus only being about 45 mins, but good.  I never had to use the SG at all, the map was very good and quite helpful.  I would say stick with the SE as there was no collectibles, achievements etc, short bonus and for me SG wasn't required at all.  The puzzles were quite varied and fun.  The diary was nicely detailed as well. If you haven't played it I'd say give the demo a go.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I finished another game -- CROSSWORLDS:  THE FLYING CITY.  It's old (2011, I think) and probably too easy for most of you.  I didn't find it all that easy but I was bored by it.  Oops!  Sorry about all the bolding.  It's late and I'm tired.  It had good graphics but another daughter trying to find her father game.  It said To Be Continued but it hasn't been as far as I know., I wouldn't buy another one anyway.  And again, no Credits that I could find.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Yay, I've just finished Magic Griddlers, which makes 4 games played this week.    No idea how many I've managed to finish this month.    Hopefully more than I bought.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Update: Lexi isn't doing so good. She has a lot of trouble walking and she's back to being depressed and sad. I don't know what to do.
