Tirama, I wanted to say that I have had both MCF Blackpool, Township, MC and hosts of other things on my IPad, some quite large games and when you are running things it isn't a problem. But things get stored on the cloud when you delete. I do my email and internet surfing on it. I can't watch tv on websites like abc or cbs as I don't have adobe on it. BBC Radio plays well over the internet. Sounds pretty good too.

GameHouse has a 50% sitewide sale until tomorrow 5 June. The code normally works the following day as well, just like at BFG. You also get one punch on your punchcard for each purchase of all SEs and the already discounted games - for both members and non-members! - 3 for CEs that aren't already discounted.
Code: FAVORITE
This discount also applies to their already discounted games, which are currently (until Monday 9 June):
Super Deal ($1.19 members - $1.99 non-members - less 50% until tomorrow)
The Surprising Adventures of Munchausen
Marine Park Empire
Quest of the Sorceress
Delivery King 2
The Cross Formula
Temple of Life - The Legend of the Four Elements Platinum Edition
Mega Deal ($2.39 - $3.99 - less 50% until tomorrow)
Legacy - Witch Island
Luxor Evolved
Atlantic Quest 2 – The New Adventures
Cool Deal ($4.89 - $6.99 - less 50% until tomorrow)
Aquascapes - Platinum Edition
Gardens Inc. 2 – The Road to Fame - Platinum Edition
Delicious - Emily's 1 & 2 Bundle
With the 50% discount until tomorrow the Platinum Edition games are very good value, especially Temple of Life - The Legend of the Four Elements Platinum Edition, which is only $0.59 (members) or $0.99 (non-members) - for a great PE!!!! Pity I've already got it.
I know a lot of you were interested in Legacy - Witch Island, which is only $1.19 (members) or $1.99 (non-members).

I demo'd todays Daily Deal. Reviews were a mixed bag and I don't think it was bad as some of them wrote, I am not sure about it. Graphics were older looking, but I don't hold that against a small developer, at least they were clear. No voiceovers, but again I don't hold that against a small developer. No music unless volume is cranked. Game play is okay and story line is okay so far. Maybe slightly cheesy. I don't know about it. Has anyone else played it yet?
Wendy...I don't see your avatar it is a red X to me.
Big Fish is overrun by spam in the older game forums. I opened a thread in today's game maybe the mods will see it.

What others have said, Wendy. Don't rush to get something shiny and new. Ask at Best Buy when the new models are due out. You can catch some great sales on the old ones right before they roll out the new models.
If your games are laggy/sluggish, you probably need a computer with a more powerful cpu. So as much as you would prefer a larger screen, I would advise going for the machine with the more powerful processer. (an i5 instead of an i3, don't know anything about the AMD chips). Same in regards to storage. You don't need a terabyte.
Oscar - I looked at MCF Blackpool and it's not available in the USA yet, just in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and I think Great Britain. I think Township is a TM/builder type game? I'm not very good at those. I'm not planning on starting another MC game, but if I decide to get an iPad, I will try MCF Blackpool on it when it's released over here.
What about Dark Manor? I could give that a try, haven't checked the BF forum to see how much a player needs friends. I worry about coming into a game too long after it was first released, many people don't want new friends especially ones who are on lower levels.
What nonogram games do you have? It would be awesome if World Mosaics: Chroma was released for iPad.
I'm working on the 4th room of Olympus Griddlers. Not loving the music.

T-I have a whole bunch of them on IPad, World Contest and the Christmas Nonograms, Magic Journey, Royal Riddle, Arizona Rose. Some free some not. World mosaics as well, not chroma though.
I didnt care for Dark Manor personally. Township is not TM but yes a builder. You don't really need friends for it. Although the new update (I'm doing the beta) will have some co-op opportunities. It they aren't necessary to do. It's fun you're just building your little town however you want by growing crops, which don't die and filling orders. No time limit. I'd say look at it. It's bright and fun, great detail and graphics, by playrix. I have a couple of good puzzlers on it 100 rooms and Room. You can get lots of deals and freebies. For instance if you dl BFG app, well when I did I got a free game, and make sure you get the emails, sometimes there is freebies. I got ravenhearst for it for free. Jigsaw games too which are neat when you are just using your fingers. I would tell you get a cover but don't bother with a screen protector. For me I don't notice a lot of fingerprints but I do use eye glass leaner and a facecloth to clean it. Works great imo.

I just checked the BF app. It looks like the free game is the CE I just finished on the PC. I wish the iPad games were sortable by genre. I'll probably hold off on getting a cover until I decide whether I want a keyboard to go with the iPad.

Lol, up until just recently there was no search function either, it was just alphabetical. Personally I haven't missed havin a keyboard. It takes up about half the screen when you are using it. for eg this post, the window fits right above the keyboard and you can enlarge if you need to.

I was thinking about something like this:

I like that!
I have a bendy cover like that but without the keyboard. It's hot pink. But hmm, that makes me go hmm maybe a keyboard? There's always Christmas.

DH just went to the store to get my birthday present!
And yes, I think a cover with a keyboard would be a good idea for Christmas.
