I only finished 2 chapters of Hidden Expedition - Devil's Triangle. Will ty to finish tonight.
Spent time working on the auction achievements of Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'. My computer froze just as I had completed the achievement for 100 auctions won (the reward is 50 gold bars). Was so afarid that I would lose my progress and have to start over, but everything was okay.

Sue, I agree with the 3 possible CEs that you are thinking of getting because I am getting those 3 CEs as well. None of the rest for me. I am getting SEs for Fall of the New Age and Rebuild the European Union.
Thanks so much, Barre! I'll add those 3 games to my CEs-waiting-for-a-BOGOF list, think about the others, and check out those 2 SEs that you're getting.

Sorry Sue, I have yet to try any of the games on your list.
Tonight I started Secrets of the Dark: Mystery of the Ancestral Estate, and I love this game! I wish I had gotten the CE version. The HO scenes are so much fun. You put an item back, then get a list of three items to find and incorporate into a Rube Goldberg time puzzle. Very inventive. I also like the aspect of change from light to dark and the room changing. I have seen that done but it is a great asset to the game. A lot of fun for anyone who hasn't tried this game. especially after the dud I tried yesterday! I don't see a map, so far I haven't required one and I haven't gone looking for a walkthru either. The journal is quite well done.

Stuesue, I´m also far behind with playing games, I´m moving things between my computers.
I have bought the CE:s of Dangerous Games and Mysterium: Lake Bliss.
I´m in the middle of the later and it´s very fun, but I think the SE is good enough. I bought it during the sale and I like looking for the collectibles but I think that´s all. I report later.
Mythic Wonders,Amarathine and Witches Legacy is on my want CE list.
Your possible SE.:s and Emerald Maiden I didn´t like and I got Campgrounds. It was fun but short.
Legends of Solitaire sounds interesting

NP, Oscar!
But darn it! I got the CE of the first 2 Secrets of the Dark games but only the SE of Mystery of the Ancestral Estate. Can't remember why now.

Thanks, Anki!
Could you let me know about the bonus chapter in Mysterium? I wanted the CE but read some not so good reviews and so was considering the SE. But if it's got a great bonus chapter then I'll put it back on my possible-CE list. I liked looking for the dragonflies.
I betaed Emerald Maiden and I'm in 2 minds about it - I don't like Art Deco but the story was interesting. However, Campgrounds is a game I'd play for free but not buy.
Do you remember why Witches' Legacy is on your CE wish list? I only ask because it's on yours but not on Barre's and so I wonder if your reasons would be mine as well.
And Legends of Solitaire is a definitely different ... and reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaally loooooooooooooooooooong ... Tripeaks Solitaire game. I thought I'd read that it had 300 story levels but wondered why you got an award for finishing all 30 rounds (10 levels per round) plus an award for finishing the game. Well, I found out when I got to 300 levels ... there are actually 400 levels! PLUS the 2 extra free-play mode games. The story's interesting with a great narrator ... shivers-up-and-down-your-spine great ... and your powerups are 4 companions that you pick up along the way as you journey across the land and sea, as well as some that you buy, either permanently or again once you've used them. There are also fire cards, stone cards, etc. However, even though the boards change each level, the gameplay is the same all the way through, which makes it a bit less interesting, although the goals each level get harder and harder to achieve. But once you build up your money you can buy surprise cards (I forget what they're really called) and hope you get one that will help you. But I'm having fun playing it and I think for the length it would be great value for your money (I'm playing it with my GameHouse FunPass).

I demo'd 2 games at Gamehouse that Big Fish may or may not get.
Mexicana: Deadly Holiday & Alice: Behind the Mirror.
Mexicana: Your fiance who is Mexican takes you to Mexico to see the Day of the Dead festival. He wants to see the fortune teller first and something from the otherside kidnaps him and you must try to get him back. That is the story so far after 30 minute demo. Game has No voiceovers - Mexican theme music - everything very colorful and appropriate to a Day of the Dead festival. I like it and will continue to play it.
Alice: Behind the Mirror - No voice overs again - HO scenes that had very small and hard to spot items. No option to turn down the music. Clunky game play. Hit the Not so hidden Cheshire cat faces and get factoids about Lewis Carroll and Alice. I now know what the saying Mad as a Hatter means. So far I met the March Hare & Humpty Dumpty. Game has been easy so far, you are told what to do and where to go. I am not sure if I want to continue it.

sunshinej, I've also tried both those games but I think I preferred Alice, which I've just been playing, as it's definitey different and I love all the stuff you learn. I found it super easy with HOS after HOS, which are all very simple lists but with some very well hidden objects. The few puzzles I came across in the bit that I played were also easy, but fun. There are also big magnifying glasses and puzzle pieces and blinking eyes to show you all the places where you can interact. However, I loved the music and found it really fun to play. I also found the "Interesting Facts" about Lewis Carroll, etc, fascinating and that alone would make me play the game. I can't wait to learn more. I also think the artwork was beautiful. I played a very similar game just a few weeks ago called Haunted House Mysteries, also by Anuman Interactive, with exactly the same gameplay, and I also liked that and found it really interesting as you found out a lot about haunted houses and movies about them, etc.
I can't remember much about Mexicana, however, which I played a bit of yesterday, but I did like the little bit I played.
But one thing I love about my FunPass is that I can play all the games that interest me but that I wouldn't want to buy. I'll be playing both games with my FunPass.
BTW, did you know that GameHouse has a sitewide 50% off sale (half whatever price you normally pay)?

This is a comment about the FTP games and my opinion about them. I don't know if others feel the same way. The funny thing is I enjoy myself more playing the 3 FTP games that I have rather than my regular bought games. I think this is great because I am saving money by not buying as many games as before and that's a good thing since I'm already up to 510 games bought.
I find that every day I look forward to playing the FTP games.....funny how a free game is more enjoyable than the regular games, at least imo. although I still love the solitaire, M3, and occasional TM game.
Right now I am also playing Tales of Lagoona 2 and I think I'm near the end. It is a very fun game that I can play as and when I feel like it. I like it better than the first Lagoona, and in this game if you spot Gwendoline from Albian Castle, she will give you gifts every time you find her.

barre...I look forward to playing Awakening: Kingdom more than I thought I would. Right now it mainly consists getting blueprints and it takes me 10 minutes before my energy runs out. Then I wait and look forward to when my energy bar is full again.
stusue...I tried both games again and you're right I like Alice better. It has a charm about it. I am still finding the HO scenes challenging and have you notice that the Cheshire cat that pops up between screens reminds you of Timebomb's avatar on PF. Right now I am doing the maze before I can see the Queen of Hearts.
I finished Deadly Voltage: Rise of the Invincible. A very good game. I didn't love it, but I did like it a lot. It was long, plenty of scenes, good story, plenty of stuff to do. The game was in sections so not too much back & forth.
