Lily, NP.  I think you'll like the SE as I think you like easier games and this is certainly one of those (although it's not too intuitive later in the game but then that's what the Hint button is for!).  I think I was just so disappointed when the great start didn't continue that maybe I liked the second half less than I would have had the game not started so well.  However, forewarned is forearmed, as they say, so you'll know that the great start doesn't continue and so shouldn't be as disappointed as I was.  I did have fun playing it, though!    But yes, definitely the SE.

You never know Stusue.  I am having a really hard time starting.  It's my first one.  By the time I get it done he may not want it!

I just finished Esoterica Hollow Earth. It was good but didn't know my socks off.  I think I'm going to play Agency of Anomalies Mind Invasion next.  If meg I think, tells me where she is stuck I'll keep my eyes open for it.

Anytime, Oscar!  I'm always available if you just want a sounding board.  I've taught people how to write Uni essays and PhD theses so you never know, I may be a good sounding board to help get you started.

And you liked Esoterica: Hollow Earth   My official rating was:  Couldn't wait to finish.  LOL.

TiramaSue - no date yet. Because they are going to be starting work on the porch soon, it was decided that we would hold off until the porch is done to do the surgery. Primarily because there will be a lot of ne wpeople here and Lexi and the other dogs get all worked up when new people are here to do work of any kind. We didn't want to risk her breaking her leg while recovering.

We have no idea how long it will take. Hopefully not long. They may not be able to start Monday because there is a chance of rain Sunday night, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. So no telling.

Oscar - I'm jealous of your hair. I used to have much thicker hair but I have a scalp condition that is causing my hair to slowly fall out and my scalp scars up. It sucks big time. I've lost probably a good 50% of my hair over the last 10 years or so. But oh well.

Stusue - thanks for letting me know. I'll take a look at it.

I have both the first Dragon Keeper game (I've actually finished it!) and this one (I'm on the 3rd of 4 worlds).  I didn't purchase either (the first one was offered as a freebie a few weeks ago) but think they're great as freebies and so now have both to play whenever without having paid for either of them!!!!    Gotta love Game Giveaway of the Day and Playrix

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I was asked if I'd also do reviews of demos I played.  I thought about it and realised that it would be a great place for me to keep track of games that I've demoed and create a list of those games I want to get/play and those I don't.

At the moment I just have a tick, x or ? next to each game in the folders where I keep track of every game that BFG and GameHouse release, with maybe a word or 2 to try and remind me what I thought about each game.  This will give me a lot more info when it comes to choosing games as I have a memory like a sieve.

The demo reviews can be found in the new thread I've just created in the Lots of Lists forum, creatively named - StuSue's Demo Reviews.  Well, I never said I was very creative, did I?    At least it rhymes, so maybe I could be a poet!

I've just added my first game.  I think the person who asked me only wanted reviews of the daily BFG games.  Unfortunately, my first demo review is a game that's not yet available at BFG (I'm sure it will be released there soon) but was released a few days ago by GameHouse, called 9 Elephants, a weird, fun, puzzle game with 235 puzzles and a story!

After only having played 1.5 of the 9 chapters plus bonus, I'm recommending the game.  If you'd like to read my full review, check out my new thread.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

That 9  Elephants sounds interesting!  I will be interested in the demo reviews.

As for Esoterica, I did like it more for the story it was well done. The glitches were annoying but you could get around them, unfortunately you had to skip some puzzles because of not registering.  I do know what you mean about wanting it to be over though.  I would give it a solid 3/5.

I have to say a big kudos to you Stusue!  Your reviews, demo and otherwise are so detailed and full of info. Thanks. They are entertaining to read and chock a block of helpful information.
