Oh, I almost forgot to say that, even though I'm not a dog person - and, no, I'm defnitely not a cat person, either - all your dogs do look cute and very lovable.

stusue -- Sorry about your computer problems. I'm seriously thinking of getting another computer and keeping this one in reserve so I can play some of my older games that won't work in Windows 8.

hiiiii everyone! was out of town for a few days due to easter. My brother & his fiance had it and even though their place is super tiny, it was a lot of fun...almost 20+ ppl in a small 1bdr apt. yikes!
James...my fiance...got his k1 visa approved and mailed to him. He will be arriving in the US on May 14th and staying permanently. I originally wanted to wait until mid june to get married but Im worried the longer we wait, the harder it will be for him to find work. I don't want him to miss out on a fabulous job and since we are just going to the courthouse now, maybe we should do it sooner. The problem is finding a day that is good for everyone. My brother & fiance want to come & I didn't think they would for some reason because we will have a reception of some sort later on...but anyways lots of fun stuff coming up! & for the first time in 4 years, he will actually be out here for my 32nd birthday on June 5th
Id put my dogs in here but Im not sure how to. Tessa, our lil girl who got hit is doing much better. the dr is doing Physical therapy with her and apparently in 1 week she already has 30% more mobility than the week prior. She's a scrappy one so I am not surprised. She is in a small cast now and can be out of the backroom now. She won't even walk back there now lol probably afraid we will lock her back in...Her brother is passed out on my bed because its raining and rain scares him. He's such a big dog and such a pansy.
Hope everyone is doing great

Now onto games...While gone I played & finished Cadenza-music, betrayal & death CE and OMG this is a new standard of games...I also think this is the first new game I have played a few days after purchasing it LOL The music in this game is jazz and lots of singing and the first time I have ever listened to the soundtrack in the extras on any game EVER! Usually Im burnt out with CEs and don't get to the bonus games but this game I couldn't stop and it was so original like the hidden object scenes. I gave it 5 stars and it deserves about 10!
Wendy-I feel you on the game reviews! For a long time, I didn't realize it had changed from "most helpful" to "Highest Rating" and I was like why is every game always 5 stars?? LOL I realized a couple weeks ago and pennmom gives every game 5 stars. I guess she just likes everything but I too scan over the people who give 5 stars to every game even after only playing like 15 minutes. I try to read newest too and I do look at the bad reviews but sometimes those people say like "I don't like it"...ok great but what don't you like? LOL I wish you could half stars because a lot of games I feel like are 3.5, not 4 but anyways, I digress LOL I just understand.
So...I was playing Agency of Anomalies-Mind Invasion CE and had gotten halfway and was playing on hard mode. I failed to notice that once you lock into a mode you can't switch and thats usually fine if I have the strategy guide but there is a puzzle I cannot beat to save my life even with the guide so I am halfway through and stuck...I don't want to start it over even though its fun so Im aggravated and going to have to go back to it some other time when I have forgotten what happened.
I finally ordered my memory so I can upgrade my computer. Most of the new games coming out don't include my operating system anymore. In the meantime I am trying to get through some super old games that I don't think will work on a brand new system so I am playing spa mania, Avenue Flo-Special Delivery & probably Kuros, Eden's quest, Hotel & some more oldies but goodies sooner than later.
If I ever finish Viking Brothers it will be a miracle. A pretty easy game but just takes forever and some levels are ARGH lol

Meg - Edens Quest was a fun puzzler. Congrats to your fiancé and to your forthcoming nuptials! Glad Tessa is doing so much better.
I started Esoterica Hollow Earth las night. I really like the look of this game and the way the cut scenes are done. I do find the silhouette HO scenes a little unreadable but I've been able to muddle thru. The story is very good. I keep saying to the screen "what is wrong with you? Don't you recognize him?" Lol
Thanks Stusue they are great cuddlers too.

Congrats on your great news meg! Your fiance here permanently, Tessa getting better and playing some games you really enjoy! Yikes! 20 people in a 1 bedroom apt? I'm glad everyone enjoyed Easter. I really, really enjoyed EDEN'S QUEST.
oscar -- they're cuddlers too? Wow!

I've just posted my review for Dreamscapes - The Sandman Platinum Edition, which you can find in my review thread.
I highly recommend this game. It's only available as an SE at BFG and the SE is fine. However, if you have a FunPass (Anki), I really recommend you play the PE as the bonus is about 90 minutes, is in all new areas, and not only has you saving the baddie from the main game but also finishes Laura's story.

Wow, Meg, less than 3 weeks to wait!!!! I can't even begin to imagine how excited you must be! Don't forget to let us all know when the big day is going to be!
I'm glad Tessa's improving quickly. I hope she has her cast removed soon!
I'm so sorry about Agency of Anomalies: Mind Invasion CE. How annoying! What sort of puzzle is it? Are there no hints in the forums at BFG? Good luck with that.

Misscatlady, I haven't got my computer back as I haven't even put it in to be fixed yet. I've just done as much as I can to get it working ... sort of ... again. I've been mollycoddling it along for about a year now, knowing how much it would cost to just get it looked at, just trying to keep it going as long as possible. But I fear its days may be numbered. The problem is what to get if I get a new one?
