I am playing Revived Legends-Road of the Kings CE from BLAM! games. I like this game BUT I only demoed it for 5 minutes before getting it in a sale and I wish I had played it a little further because it has A LOT and I mean a GIGANTIC amount of cute, furry animals, some you name, some you don't. 20 you stumble upon and it gives you achievements for meeting them and for me some games are really fun with them aka Lord of the Statues, Nutcracker with the cats, Awakening games....but I feel a little animaled out. Granted it is like a fairy tale type story kind of like Alice in Wonderland...but still its too sugary sweet for me. But I do like the story, graphics, puzzles and HOGS...
wow 1600 levels? kind of reminds me of how Fishdom the original doesn't ever end. I mean in theory you could play that game for the rest of your life. What a value
Im choosing to bypass this sale. IF I get SEs then what am I going to use my pccs on? Besides I have a dentist appointment in a few weeks and its the one I have to pay out of pocket for. The insurance they give is for 2 appointments a year and I need 3 appointments every 4 months or I build up too much plaque. Apparently thats genetic, thanks dad!
Hope everyone is having a good weekend. It finally rained here on saturday! Probably not the storm of the century that California needs right now BUT at least it was something. Our reserviors are bone dry and its looking like a drought will be called. I mean the ski resorts are making their own snow! Yet in the east, its a polar vortex. I can't even imagine being in that kind of weather. If any of you are over there, hope you stay warm !

I ended up starting Madam Fate CE. Has anyone else played it yet? I don't recall anyone talking about it. I just did my first "door" puzzle. Sheer delight. It took awhile but I didn't use any help. There's morphing cards and bobbleheads(haven't found one of them yet) and old pound notes to find. I'm really liking it, seems like a dessert game so far.

I am playing Torment of Mont Triste and there are so many puzzles, and some of them are so infuriating!!!! I skipped some because I didn't want to try any longer....some took me a while to figure out but I stuck with those that I liked to figure out. I just couldn't take some of the others...gggrrrr. From the demo I thought I would like it, but now I'm not so sure....oh well, onward I go until I finish it. Glad I just got the SE and I can't be bothered to check the WT for the solutions.

I liked that one, Barre, but I like lots of puzzles. Hubby just put Golden Globes on so I can't give Madame Fate the attention she deserves. It seems top notch so far.
ETA: Hubby started playing Madden NFL, so I'm back to Fate's Carnival. Just finished my 3rd door puzzle. God, I love them. They're not as hard as in the previous games but they're still good. I just found out there's achievements, I went looking before I started but I didn't find them. Doubt I will get them all, some are pretty hard, the ones for consecutive HOs. There's a cat in here, but she's cool looking; the pound notes you find are used to buy stuff for her. I bought her a cat toy, when I click it she rolls over on her back and bats at it, pretty cute. This is a really good game, and Alister Dalimar is involved.

I haven't played it yet Wendy. I did like the demo.
I just started Sea of Lies, Mutiny of the Heart CE. So far it's quite good. Good underlying story, interactive HO scenes. Quite a few puzzles so far but they have seemed rather easy. Some different ones. I like the HO scene within the HO scene. I;ve never been one for shapes but I don't mind these, it's pretty clear what they are after.

Yay, I finished Torment of Mont Triste. It had a conclusive ending to the main game.
Wendy, sounds like you are having fun with Fate's Carnival...it's not in my schedule yet. I still have lots of older games to finish before I get to it.
Next I am playing Nightmares From The Deep: The Siren's Call CE. I believe it is a desert game, at least I hope so.
My list of games to play is dwindling....that's what happens when a person is sick and stays home and has lots of time to play games. I think I only have about 19 more games in my stockpile. Not bad eh? I am getting caught up....until the next BOGO sale comes along.

Meg -- I'm in the East. Qw survived the 1st Polar Vortex. We'll have a few warm days, then back to regular winter. They are forecasting another Polar Vortex for cext weekend.
Wendy -- You had me confused when you said Madame Fate and then Fate's Carnival. I haven't played Fate's Carnival (just a bit of the Beta). Someone I know is almost finished. She loved it. It's quite a long game. She said there were many more people to rescue than she'd thought at first.
Wow barr! If I never bought another game it would take me probably a year to clean up my backlog. And that would only happen if I played nothing but "never played" games.

meg... I was wondering about Revived Kings: Road of Kings.
I also live in the east. I get a kick out of the name Polar Vortex. Makes it sound so scary. Back 20 years or so when we got this kind of weather we just called it a plain old cold front was moving through.
I finished Secret Diaries: Florence Ashford. Not bad for a old school game. I enjoyed it even if it didn't have voice overs or other frills.

I'm about halfway through my oldest unplayed CE - Nightmare Realm: In the End.
Has anybody looked at TGT? Who Am I looks and sounds like City of Fools. Perhaps our next group play?

I finished the bonus chapter in Alex Hunter: Lord of the Mind. Was quite long, all new places to visit. I didn't find all the secret symbols so I couldn't access the secret room. I missed two achievements too.
Tirama...Yes I noticed the TGT screenshots look just like City of Fools. I haven't tried it yet. How about anyone else?
